We all need to find our purpose in life, and we’re all about supporting young people to discover and achieve their full potential.

Here on the Mornington Peninsula, we’re committed to empowering young people to make their contribution through our employability programs and pathways to productive work.

Growing retail skills

At our Thrift Op Shop in Progress Way, Thrift Retail is helping young locals gain real-world retail experience in a supported environment. This is a low-pressure entry into the workforce, where young people can build confidence, an understanding of retail processes, and develop customer service skills and experience.

Hospitality readiness

For those keen to get into the food and hospitality sector, our partnership with Homeground Coffee Company offers young people the chance to be part of a 10-week hospitality program. Skills covered include barista training, cooking, food safety and customer service, all in a real-world café setting.

Connection to Country

Connection to Country offers young people and families the opportunity to learn the stories of our first nations people in lutruwita/Tasmania, their culture, customs and lifestyle. These local journeys are helping to grow our understanding of the places we’re from and the history that shaped our communities. Each experience is open to people of all ages. You're invited to join us as we continue exploring, learning and understanding so that we can "Know the past. Change the Future".
